Paula Purdy has become sales director bridging and will continue to work closely with director of bridging Sundeep Patel (pictured) with a remit to drive new business growth and support various projects within the division.

Paul Delmonte has been appointed to the new position of head of national accounts bridging. He will build on his success as a key account manager and focus on building strong relationships with networks and clubs as well as managing other key distribution channels.

Gary Lomax becomes key account manager for the north, continuing his success supporting brokers across the north of England and Scotland and further developing UTB’s activity in those areas.

The internal sales team are now internal relationship managers, reflecting the strong direct ties many of the team have with brokers nationally. The team will continue to work closely with the field sales team in supporting their broker relationships and activities.

Announcing the changes, Sundeep Patel said: “UTB Bridging has enjoyed a strong year to date, and our restructuring of the division’s Sales function by merging the Internal and field sales teams to provide further dedicated support has gone down very well with brokers.

“These latest changes to the sales team are key to the successful delivery of our growth plans next year and signal even greater levels of broker support across all regions.”

Earlier this week, UTB appointed Michael Rennie as chief operating officer (COO) to succeed current chief operating officer Rob Sherr who is retiring in 2025.
