The bridging specialist says the industry veteran will lead the national sales team, including its regional offices in Manchester and Birmingham — led by Carl Graham and Amjad Ibn Abdul, respectively. He will also oversee its London and the Home Counties regions, covered by Stephen Palfreeman and Jim Nash.

The business says Stevens has “a proven track record in building and maintaining high-level business-to-business relationships,” and will report to chief executive Colin Sanders.

It adds that it has Tuscan reorganised its sales structure in a bid to “broaden its distribution and provide further support and resources to its brokers and intermediary partners”.

Part of this move will see it grow its field-based presence through its regional offices, and its own client services team, based in its London Victoria headquarters.

The unit will also continue to run fast-track, high-leverage purchase and commercial operations.

Stevens has worked in financial services for over 25 years, and joins Tuscan from Sancus Lending Group where he worked for two years, leaving as sales director.

Prior to that, he was at Omni Property Finance for just under 18 months, leaving as head of national business development in October 2021.

He also worked for Positive Lending for around six years, leaving as head of national sales and head of networks in 2020.

Tuscan provides non-regulated bridging finance to the residential, commercial, semi-commercial, houses in multiple occupation and mixed-use real estate sectors in England and Wales.
