Tickets are flying out the door to the premiere event on every mortgage broker’s calendar, the Australian Mortgage Awards, with only a limited supply left.
Held on Friday, October 13 at the Star Event Centre in Sydney, the black-tie gala dinner aims to celebrate the mortgage and finance industry’s best and recognise excellence in areas such as service delivery, innovation, professionalism, and leadership.
Bookings for seats and tables of up to 10 people can still be made through the Australian Mortgage Awards website.
Dual excellence awardee Chuyu “Kiki” Feng from AUSUN Finance (pictured above left), said she was “extremely excited” to be attending this year’s coveted ceremony.
“The AMAs offer an opportunity to connect with all mortgage professionals, banks and industry leaders,” Feng said. “It’s a rare chance to exchange insights, learn from each other, and celebrate the remarkable progress we’ve collectively made.”
“It’s an honour to be part of an event that brings together the best and brightest minds in the mortgage industry.”
As someone who had built a “thriving career from scratch” over six years, Feng said she had worked hard to have the chance to stand upon the stage amongst her peers and mentors.
Announced as an excellence awardee (finalist) earlier in August for both the Equity-One Broker of the Year – Productivity Award and the FBAA Broker of the Year – Residential Award, Feng said industry recognition was “incredibly important”.
“Especially for the mortgage industry as it validates our expertise, builds trust with clients, and inspires confidence. It pushes us to innovate, setting higher standards. It provides opportunities for our growth and enhances the industry as a whole and it’s a testament to my dedication and my team’s hard work,” she said.
The Australian Mortgage Awards, organised by Key Media and supported by Australian Broker and Mortgage Professional Australia, again have the backing of event partner Westpac, which has been supporting the event for 14 years.
Warren Shaw (pictured above right), Westpac head of broker distribution, said the major bank was “delighted” to continue its long-standing partnership with the Australian Mortgage Awards.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for brokers, BDMs, aggregators, lenders, IT vendors and more to all be in the one place at the one time in a relaxed and celebratory environment and build on existing relationships,” Shaw said.
“We’ll continue investing in the broker industry, as we recognise the importance of the role brokers play in the financial sector and for our customers.”
